Mountain Point Elementary will be focused on developing students with leadership opportunities. We will be teaching leadership skills through Golden Gate Kids. Here are some of the leadership opportunities that will be available:
| Sixth Grade Students will be able to apply to be on the Student Council. The Student Council meets with their advisor weekly to plan out supporting at assemblies, planning morning announcements, help at school activities, and welcome new students with a tour of the building. |

Also, Fifth grade students can support the school through Safety Patrol. Safety Patrol assists in students entering and exiting the building safely, making sure playground equipment is racked and stored correctly, and ensuring that our students using the buses get on the correct bus. |
