Mountain Point Elementary will be using the Houghton-Mifflin Math Expressions program in grades K-5. This program focuses on helping students gain skill by solving problems, explaining their thinking, listening to their peers, and improving their thinking through this consistent classroom dialogue and discussion. |
Sixth grade will be using Illustrative Math for their math program. Illustrative Mathematics Math is a problem-based core mathematics curriculum for grade 6 that develops students’ mathematical thinking skills through questioning, discussion, and real-world contexts and connections. |

As part of our digital learning component, Mountain Point will be using STMath in grades K-4 and ALEKS in grades 5-6. Students will be assessed and provided with targeted instruction at their level. Students who master grade-level skills will be able to access above-grade-level skills with this program. |
